Job brief
We are looking for a talented volunteer video editor to assemble recorded footage and images into a finished project that matches the site's vision and is suitable for sharing online and on social media.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a video editor
- Literate in social media and advanced experience in content creation and curation for social, especially Facebook and YouTube
- Highly organized and able to meet deadlines, especially under pressure
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)
- Demonstrable video editing ability
- Creative mind and storytelling skills
Responsibilities
- Responsible for content creation of original videos including features and instructionals
- Oversee production, including talent, location and other logistics of original videos.
- Direct field production on large endeavors and offer up shooting capabilities in smaller scale operations
