TRUMP RETWEETS FALWELL'S CALL TO EXTEND HIS FIRST PRESIDENTIAL TERM BY 2 YEARS: 'TIME STOLEN BY THIS CORRUPT FAILED COUP'

President Donald Trump on Sunday retweeted Liberty University President Jerry Falwell's post, calling for the first term of his presidency to be extended by two years "as pay back for time stolen by this corrupt failed coup."

"After the best week ever for @realDonaldTrump - no obstruction, no collusion, NYT admits @BarackObama did spy on his campaign, & the economy is soaring. I now support reparations-Trump should have 2 yrs added to his 1st term as pay back for time stolen by this corrupt failed coup," Falwell — a longtime Trump supporter — tweeted on Saturday, apparently in reference to the controversies surrounding special counsel Robert Mueller's report on possible Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

The president retweeted the message on Sunday afternoon.

Trump then posted two tweets later that evening touting his successes in office and claiming that Democrats have stolen two years of his presidency with collusion allegations that "we will never be able to get back."

"Despite the tremendous success that I have had as President, including perhaps the greatest ECONOMY and most successful first two years of any President in history, they have stollen [sic] two years of my (our) Presidency (Collusion Delusion) that we will never be able to get back," the president tweeted.

"The Witch Hunt is over but we will never forget. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!," Trump added in another post.

The president's tweets come hours after he lashed out at Democrats earlier on Sunday over the suggestion that Mueller could testify before the Democratic-led House Judiciary Committee in the coming weeks.

"After spending more than $35,000,000 over a two year period, interviewing 500 people, using 18 Trump Hating Angry Democrats & 49 FBI Agents - all culminating in a more than 400 page Report showing NO COLLUSION - why would the Democrats in Congress now need Robert Mueller to testify," Trump tweeted on Sunday afternoon. "Are they looking for a redo because they hated seeing the strong NO COLLUSION conclusion? There was no crime, except on the other side (incredibly not covered in the Report), and NO OBSTRUCTION. Bob Mueller should not testify. No redos for the Dems!"

During an appearance on Fox News Sunday, Rep. David Cicilline (D-R.I.) told host Chris Wallace that a tentative day — May 15 — has been set for Mueller to testify before the House Judiciary Committee, noting that his attendance is not guaranteed. Later, Cicilline corrected himself on Twitter, saying the May 15 date has only been proposed to the special counsel and had not yet been agreed to.

"We think the American people have a right to hear directly from him," Cicilline said on Fox News Sunday. "The White House has so far indicated they would not interfere with Mr. Mueller's attempt to testify; we hope that won't change."

Voices4America Post Script. We are alreadyin full constitutional crisis. And now an occupant of the White House claims the right to stay more than 4 years. Remember 2016 when he refused to say whether he would follow the results of the election. #ImpeachTrumpNow

And yes, he has already rescinded on supporting Mueller's testimony before the Congress.

This is from The Hill, May 6, 2019.President Trump erected a new investigative roadblock on Sunday with his statement that special counsel Robert Mueller "should not testify" to Congress about the findings of the Russia investigation, which was completed in March. The president revised his statement just days ago that the matter was up to Attorney General William Barr, who previously said he had no objection to Mueller's appearance before Congress.

"After spending more than $35,000,000 over a two year period, interviewing 500 people, using 18 Trump Hating Angry Democrats & 49 FBI Agents - all culminating in a more than 400 page Report showing NO COLLUSION - why would the Democrats in Congress now need Robert Mueller to testify," Trump tweeted.

"Are they looking for a redo because they hated seeing the strong NO COLLUSION conclusion? There was no crime, except on the other side (incredibly not covered in the Report), and NO OBSTRUCTION. Bob Mueller should not testify. No redos for the Dems!"
