The issue (for once) isn't Misogyny or even the dignity of the office.Trump isn't fit to serve.

Shortly before 9 a.m on Thursday, June 29, 2017, as Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough's MSNBC show "Morning Joe" was ending, Mr. Trump used Twitter to taunt her and her co-host, referring to them as "low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe" and describing a meeting with Ms. Brzezinski in which, he said, "she was bleeding badly from a face-lift."

I heard poorly rated @Morning_Joe speaks badly of me (don't watch anymore). Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came..

...to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Year's Eve, and insisted on joining me. She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!

Since then, America feels a little self-satisfied, watching both Democratic and Republican officials in almost a unique bi-artisan effort condemning Trump for vulgarity, misogyny, behavior undignified in the office of the President.

According to the Washington Post, more than three dozen Republicans and Democrats in Congress issued tweets of their own expressing disgust, calling the remark "unpresidential," "vile, sexist and unbecoming of an American leader," "divisive," "unhinged and shameful" and "amazingly graceless."

Here are samples from Republicans (source, ABC news).

The elected official who, in our view, came closest to the mark, was Nancy Pelosi. She started her critique as the others did.

"That really saddens me because it is so beneath the dignity of the President of the United States to engage in such behavior," adding that Republicans "set a low standard for public officials in terms of their demeanor."

Then, she added, "It's really sad though. This is President of the United States. Something is wrong there."

You bet.

Donald Trump is crazy. In this case, by all accounts, criticism leveled at him on a television unhinged him. He stewed, then exploded.

We heard the truth before, from President Obama on August 2, 2016 (see article photo) and from Hillary Clinton.

What next can we expect? What if he hears on cable tv or in a Tweet that the Germans are criticizing him? or the Chinese? What danger is the world in, with Trump in the White House?

We need to demand of our representatives that Trump be removed from office.

This #FakePresident has no clothes. Shout it to the skies.

That is why the 25th Amendment exists.

Addendum. As Joe Scarborough said of themselves this morning: "We're O.K. the country's not."
