The Deterioration of Donald Trump As Witnessed by SNL

In 2004, Donald Trump, the star of the hit NBC show, The Apprentice, appeared on SNL for the first time. The video is below.

In it, we see his early arrogance and self-importance , which the SNL writers gently mocked. He demonstrated the seeds of madness that have now bloomed but he had not yet become fully the humorless ego-maniac he is today.

The second half of the episode is also interesting, since it depicts a parody of an already servile Jeff Zucker, then head of NBC Entertainment, the man who hired Trump.

What was then humorous would become prophetic, when Zucker as head of CNN used Trump once again as a "ratings machine" at the expense of the United States, Democracy and the world.

You can also watch the 2004 video of his SNL appearance here.

Today, Trump's self absorption is in full bloom. The man who would be president can no longer laugh at himself. His delusions of importance lead him into mad twitter storms, with accompanying threats.

This was SNL's exposure of his erratic and narcissistic behavior last night. Dec. 3, 2016.

This past October, Trump rooted against NBC and SNL, suggesting that the show should be retired.

Last night, he railed again.

This morning, Alec Baldwin responded and issued a challenge.

What do you think will happen next, as this unhinged man with no respect for the 1st Amendment (or much else, it seems) deals with the media?
