Linda Stasi: Happy Mother's Day. Ivanka Loves You.

Dear Mothers Who Work (and that means every mother on Earth):

If you can't be with your kids this Mother's Day because you will instead be waiting on other women and their kids, serving them food, cleaning their dishes, doing their laundry, working a full day's shift selling last-minute Mother's Day gifts, working as EMTs, migrant farm workers, maids, health care workers, companions to other women's aged mothers, or simply hoping to live long enough to see your children next Mother's Day because you're serving in the military, wearing a badge, working undercover, or toiling away in any of the hundreds of dangerous or dirty jobs, please remember one thing this Mother's Day: Ivanka Trump loves you.

We know that because she wrote a book for and about YOU just in time for Mother's Day, titled, "Women Who Work: Rewriting the Rules for Success."She wrote the book to inspire working moms like you to achieve greatness like her. And make no mistake, Ivanka empowers by example.

Ivanka empowers by example. But ask the working moms who make her clothing in Chinese sweatshops.

Take for instance, the working moms who make her clothing in Chinese sweatshops. The owner of that shop pays these workers $62 for a 60-hour a week. If that doesn't inspire a woman to greatness, nothing will.

Ivanka also advises women to seize opportunities in the workplace (although opportunities must be somewhat limited in sweatshops), and fills the book with quotes from overachieving women like Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf: "The size of your dreams must always exceed your current capacity to achieve them. If your dreams do not scare you, they are not big enough."

So dream big! The more you and your underage children sew in sweatshops today, the more you'll earn tomorrow! Unfortunately the Liberian Nobel Peace Prize-winning president was called a warlord in her own country, and scathingly criticized by a fellow Nobel laureate for her scandal-scarred, nepotism-riddled government.

No wonder Ivanka admires her so! After all, nepotism runs in her family too! Yay!

In the spirit of generosity, Ivanka is donating the unpaid portion of her book advance — which, minus expenses, comes to $425,000 — to her own Ivanka M. Trump Charitable Fund to empower women and girls.

That means she probably didn't empower women and girls with the first $850,000 part of her book advance.

But that's understandable. Just because she and Jared Kushner are worth $740 million doesn't mean she doesn't have plenty of expenses like the rest of us.

I mean, she has to pay all those nannies, cooks, gardeners and maids and all the other women who work for her. Sorry, all those women she empowers.

So if you're working like an animal this Mother's Day, take heart. Ivanka isn't. And remember, she loves you!

This article appeared today under the title: Stasi: Ivanka Trump has no clue about real working moms. It is by Linda Stasi.

Happy Mother's Day. If you act on it, he will be out of the White House by the next.
