Jefferson Davis was never brought to full justice after the Civil War for leading an insurrection against the United States. As a result, Davis could and did claim to a reporter in 1873 that Southerners had been “cheated, not conquered.”
Ask yourself something: are you willing to pay higher taxes and have less affordable health care so you can “own the libs” because that’s the price you’ll have to pay if the GOP agenda is enacted … you pay more, their cronies pay less.
