DON'T PULL A NADER -Voting for Johnson or Stein is insane!

I fell off my seat when I read on Labor Day in the New York Times that Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson has the backing of 10 percent of registered voters. This according to a mid-August poll by the Pew Research Center.

More than 70 percent of his backers are younger than 50, and over three-fifths are political independents, many of them disillusioned with the two major parties' nominees.Well, there's disillusionment and there's a death wish.

Gail Collins called voting for a third party candidate a "silly choice." Actually, it's worse, it's increasing the likelihood that Trump will be elected.

Collins wrote: "The only third party that might have a line on all state ballots is the Libertarian, whose platform includes eliminating Social Security, ending gun control and wiping out drug laws. This year's Libertarian candidate is Gary Johnson, the former governor of New Mexico. Johnson does not seem to agree with the platform on many points, but to be honest, he's not the world's greatest explainer or knower. For example, he doesn't know who Harriet Tubman is and apparently knows nothing about even pepper, despite being from New Mexico. Aleppo-it's a city in Syria, Stupid! But that's another issue.

Libertarians also apparently like the idea of a charisma-free candidate, since he'd be incapable of getting much done if elected, which he will not be.

"But truly, this is a silly choice. Voting for Johnson is exactly the same as staying home, except that it involves going outdoors. Ditto for Green Party candidate Jill Stein, a doctor who appears to have a rather ambiguous attitude toward childhood vaccinations." She would also not have killed Osama Bin Laden and is engaging in conspiracy speculation about 9/11 - "We need to learn the full story."

It's an INSANE choice! If you're disillusioned go for a brisk walk, drink less coffee or go to church. But please don't do a NADER and hand the country over to another incompetent President, who is, in addition this time, a sociopath and a fascist narcissist, as well.

Hillary is the only choice to cure your disillusionment.

Be like Bernie, if he was your guy. If not, just be sane.

Work with her and the Democrats in your area to GET THE VOTE OUT on November 8. And earlier in 31 states, starting with North Carolina on Sept. 9. 10 more BattleGround States by October 25.

Ask yourself something: are you willing to pay higher taxes and have less affordable health care so you can “own the libs” because that’s the price you’ll have to pay if the GOP agenda is enacted … you pay more, their cronies pay less.
